Responsibility

Caring for the land, our animals, and future generations is not just a principle, it's a responsibility we live by, every day.

Sustainability.

For the next generation and beyond.

As a family-owned business with three generations on the land, sustainability is woven into everything we do at Jack's Creek. We know our role as stewards of the environment doesn't end at the boundary fence, and we take that responsibility seriously.

Jack's Creek is proud to be a part of the Australian red meat industry, one of the most effective industries in Australia in terms of a significant reduction in carbon emissions over the last two decades. To improve our capacity to make a positive difference to our environmental impact, we are updating our carbon assessment with Australia's leading agricultural environmental consultancy. With this knowledge we will be able to identify key areas for improvement starting with our own on-farm emissions, then with our supply chain partners to manage their emissions.

For us, sustainability isn't about compliance, it's about legacy. The land has supported our family for generations, and we're determined to leave it in even better condition for the next.

Animal Welfare

Doing things right because we care.

Animal welfare is a non-negotiable part of how we operate, both in principle and in practice. Whether it's cattle under our direct care or animals raised by our partners, dignity and respect are at the heart of every interaction. We meet and exceed the Australian Animal Welfare Standards, and we invest in training to ensure our team handles livestock with care, knowledge and low-stress techniques. We also work closely with all supply chain partners, from breeders and backgrounders to feedlots and processors, to ensure that high welfare standards are upheld at every stage.

We believe in providing environments that support animal health, comfort, and wellbeing, and when animals require treatment, they receive it promptly and professionally. It's all part of doing things the right way. Not because we have to, but because it's who we are.
